FaceSpace?

Good day chums and chumesses!
Is anyone reading this blog yet? Doubt it! Not told anyone about it yet! lol!!

So here I am in a dilemma, a Facespace shaped dilemma!
All my buddies and pals have been bugging me for ages "Get yourself some Facespace Sonny!"
"Oh Mybook is brilliant! You gotta get on there!"
And my little brother, Stephen, said I should try out beebop?
Well I looked there first. It took me the best part of an hour just to read comments made on his profile!
Some of it is entirely another language surely? And what's with using symbols instead of letters? \/\/ instead of W?
() instead of O? the list goes on! I was expecting "Text-speak" you know... u = you, l8r = later, wrup2 = What are you doing right now my friend... You get the idea! So I gave Beebop the old elbow and moved on.
Mybook was next. Quickly gave up on that as well... A little to much "Bling" for my taste!! I mean, please! Do I really want to wait more than 30seconds for a page to download because EVERY-SINGLE-LETTER in the profile is made up of sparkly animated gifs?? No more Mybook for Mr Erickson!
Next was Facespace. Now this looked promising, nice neat (grown up) style. Security that LOOKS decent. Now, not wanting to make a the "Facespace commitment" and sign up (sign away my free time) I asked a friend nicely if I could have a look around on his profile. There is SO much to it! Applications (add-ons) for just about anything you can think of! Games where people act ass animals, applications where you can have a separate profile for your PET!! Buying and selling your friends! Hell, EVEN a bloody MENSTRUAL cycle calendar!!!!! There are SO many, TO many to list, that if I did the whole of blogger.com would crash down around our ears!

So you find me in this dilemma! Do I sign up!?
